25-year-old Lucie Mançais runs an organic vineyard of 4.5 hectares in the Medoc on the commune of Moulis and Listrac Medoc (probably the youngest female winemaker in all the Medoc). She produces red and rose wines for the moment with a project of planting some white grapes in Moulis. Part of the vineyards she manages belongs to her grandfather who still lives in the house next to it. Supported by her family, her objective is to acquire 6 hectares of vines, producing fresh and authentic wines from the Medoc. In the cellar Lucie experiments with different containers and uses minimum sulphites. Her philosophy and personality is really refreshing.
