Vino di Anna

VINO DI ANNA, ETNA, Sicilia – Organic

Vino di Anna is a small family domain created and run by Anna Martens and Eric Narioo in 2010 situated on the northern slopes of Mt Etna, under the village of Solicchiata.  Small plots of old bush vines are farmed organically and some now biodynamically.  Wines are made with minimal intervention in the cellar; spontaneous fermentation, no additives, fining or filtering. Little or no SO2 is used. Nerello Mascalese is the principal black grape, coupled with small percentages of Nerello Cappuccio and Alicante (Grenache).  The whites are field blends based on Carricante and Grecanico.
