MAX SEIN WEIN, Maximilian Baumann, Baden, Germany – Organic
Max sein Wein is based in the northern Baden village of Dertingen, on the border with Franconia. They cultivate 5.5 hectares of organic vineyards, mostly on limestone and partly on colored sandstone. Our over 30 different blocks are located on southeast to west facing slopes at an elevation of 240 to 340 meters above sea level. They mainly work with white wine varieties 70% (Silvaner, Burgundy varieties, Müller-Thurgau, Kerner, Gewürztraminer), but also 30% red wine varieties with Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir.
