Azienda Agricola Denavolo
Denavolo was founded in 2005 when Giulio Armani, winemaker at La Stoppa acquired a beautiful old organic vineyard in the hills of Piacenza, 400-500 metres above sea level. The vineyard is planted solely to white varieties typical to the area such as Malvasia di Candia Aromatica, Marsanne, Ortrugo, Trebbiano Romagnolo and other autochthonous varieties. The work in the cellar is traditional; fermentation is spontaneous, only natural yeasts found on the grapes are used, no sulphur is added and the wines are unfiltered.
