The Andert-Wein estate covers 4.5ha in the South of the Seewinkel, Burgenland in Austria. A family business, run by the Andert brothers; Erich and Michael, the estate has been certified biodynamic since 2003. The brothers love good wine and food and so throughout the vineyards herbs and vegetables grow bountifully alongside a variety of animals. The most important thing for them is that the natural wine processes are not disturbed in the cellar; fermentation is spontaneous and there is no temperature control, wines are left to develop naturally, gaining individuality and character.
