SZOLO, Tokaj

Szóló have cultivated nine hectares on the volcanic slopes of Tokaj, Hungary, since 2013. They work principally with three varietals, Furmint, Hárslevel?, and Muscat Lunel creating wines in a range of styles both sweet, dry and incorporating amphorae. Szóló believe in integrated viticulture to sustain the vitality of the vineyard and resist diseases without the use of pesticides. From the very beginning Szóló have aimed to cultivate their vineyards in harmony with nature, using minimal interventions, and completely avoiding chemicals. Their ultimate goal is to achieve a balanced interaction between man and nature, and to produce natural and pristine wines.
