Jean-Jacques Morel


Alongside Dominique Derain, Jean-Jacques Morel was one of the early adopters of natural farming in Saint-Aubin. He has just under 3 hectares of vines around the village and a small parcel in Blagny, in Puligny Montrachet. He only uses old wood for vinification and elevage, and also eschews the use of pumps favouring a gravity fed system. Wines are neither filtered nor fined, with just a little sulphur added to the white before bottling.
