Roland and Alice Tauss were among the first five growers to start a movement for biodynamic and sustainable winemaking in Styria. They have always worked the vineyards and vinified their fruit using minimal interventionist techniques, believing that this is the best way to bring out the individual character of each wine. Their 6 hectares of old wines are spread over 3 different sites, planted on very steep slopes that can reach a 50% incline. The conditions here produce long living wines with graceful tannins and delicate profiles.
