At Albergue do Bonjardim wines have been made since the XVII Century. Emphasis is placed on care for nature, local economy and the well-being of people who produce and consume the wines. The organic low-yield vines give luxurious fruit with concentrated flavours. Grapes are manually selected and vinified in open granite tanks with natural yeast. The wines are blended from indigenous varieties with a touch of Syrah and Merlot, and are ripened on fine structured French oak
