ANTONIO MADEIRA, Portugal – Organic

French born and of Portuguese decent with roots in the foothills of Serra da Estrela, António Madeira holds his lineage close to his heart. He has been researching the Dão highlands for some years now, acquiring ancient vines, preserving traditions and working the soils manually without herbicides. The wine he produces is made with indigenous yeasts and is an expression of the granite soils and sun exposure of the Serra da Estrela region.
