I know. We’ve been quiet on this end. Like a space shuttle launch, we created lots of noise in the lead up, then at last, a few moments of beauty. And then silence. An empty launch pad.

It’s still sinking in; The incredible success of the three days in May that made up the Real Wine Fair. We’ve been reading all of your kind words and are overwhelmed by the positive responses pouring in. We have thank yous to dish out, moments to ponder, and of course plenty of wine to wrap our palates around. Give us a few days. Then we’ll give you our thoughts and photos. In the meantime though, we’ll leave you with a video shot by Jamie Goode, one of our masterclass speakers. He captures the mad, lovely cacophony of the fair, culminating in the 350-strong dinner cooked with love by Terroirs/Brawn/Soif head chef Ed Wilson. Jamie also captures in a fleeting moment our fair manager/organiser Amy (in blue jumper) whizzing past at full speed, which she pretty much did nonstop for the entire three days. She is a superhero.
